The Art of Crafting Premium Cashmere & Pashmina
At Singh Cashmere, every piece of our luxury Cashmere and Pashmina tells a story of tradition, skill, and meticulous craftsmanship. Our process begins high in the Himalayan mountains, where the indigenous mountain goats (Capra aegagrus hircus) naturally shed their fine winter coats each spring. Each goat yields only 3–8 ounces of ultra-soft fiber, making Himalayan Cashmere one of the rarest and most luxurious fibers in the world.
Fiber Collection
Soft winter coats are carefully collected from Himalayan mountain goats each spring, yielding only 3–8 ounces of fiber per goat. This ethical and sustainable collection ensures the highest quality raw material.

Mending & Washing
White and delicate pieces are carefully checked, blotted, and cleansed to remove impurities, ensuring purity and softness in every product.
Weaving on Handlooms
Each thread is woven entirely by hand on traditional handlooms. Our master weavers, with generations of experience, ensure every weave reflects exceptional precision and artistry.
Eco-Friendly Dyeing
We use Sandoz metal-free, azo-free dyes, dyed just below boiling point. Each batch of 3 to 4 pieces is hand-dyed, rinsed in hot and cool water, and treated with specialist shampoo, ensuring vibrant, long-lasting colors while being environmentally responsible.
Fringe Making & Labelling
Skilled artisans apply meticulous finishing touches, including hand-tied fringes and delicate embroidery, enhancing the beauty and uniqueness of each piece.
Ironing & Packing
Finally, every product is carefully pressed, inspected, and packed for delivery worldwide, ensuring it reaches you in pristine condition.
